City Manager

Welcome to the City Manager's Office

The City Manager is appointed by the City Council and, in accordance with the City's adopted council-manager plan of government, serves as Chief Executive Officer for the City.

Jeff Swanson was appointed by City Council to serve as Battle Ground's City Manager in April of 2016.

The City Manager is responsible for developing a budget for adoption by City Council, and for the efficient and prudent execution of City Council's legislative priorities and goals through the day-to-day management of all City departments, which include:
