Mayor Michael Ciraulo, citizens, partners and staff celebrated the completion and opening of the City's Flex-Use Building at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, April 14th.
The Flex-Use Building is located next to the City's Public Works Operations Center at 1308 SE Grace Avenue. The 2,350 square foot facility will be used for storage for the Parks & Recreation department's maintenance and special events equipment, and future Parks and Recreation art classes. In addition, the facility will be leased by the Battle Ground Rose Float Association from February through July each year for work on their community parade float project. Other groups are expected to make use of the building for food drives, rummage sales and other events.
