The City's Parks Advisory Board is an eight member volunteer advisory board, which includes one youth member. Each member is appointed by the Mayor and serves a three year term (exception: youth member serves a one year term). This board is charged with advising and making recommendations to staff and City Council for the improvement, beautification, planning and recreation programming of City public parks and recreation facilities.
Park Advisory Board meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm (September - June). All meetings are open to the public and are held at the Battle Ground Community Center, located at 912 E. Main St., Battle Ground.
