The Battle Ground Planning Commission is a seven member volunteer board that is charged with advising the City Council on all legislative land use matters referred to them by the Council, including comprehensive planning, capital facility planning, transportation planning, and development codes. Board members must be citizens of Battle Ground with the exception of two members who may live within the Urban Growth Area or within Clark County and own and operate a business within the City of Battle Ground. The Planning Commission members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a vote of the City Council.
