Entry Level

Public Safety Testing conducts our written and physical agility tests. To apply as an Entry-Level Police Officer contact Public Safety Testing, toll free, at 1-866-HIRE-911 or via their website at www.PublicSafetyTesting.com. Once applicants pass both phases of the test, their scores are sent to our agency and our Civil Service Commission will then further process those applicants.

Lateral-Entry

To request a lateral application you can contact our office by phone at (360) 342-5008 and we will mail an application to you, or you may pick one up at the Human Resources Department located at City Hall, 109 SW 1st Street, Suite 221, Battle Ground, WA.

To qualify as a Lateral applicant the following applies:

• Lateral Applicant must have successfully completed an approved basic law enforcement academy within the state where they served.
• Lateral Applicant with a break in full-time law enforcement employment of twenty-four (24) months or greater, shall be ineligible for lateral entry.
