
Provide services, construction, and maintenance of the City parks. This is a special revenue fund. Revenues to this fund are comprised mostly of transfers from the General Fund.
Parks land acquisition, a high priority of the City, is funded through Grants, the Parks Impact fee, and a portion of the real estate excise tax.
Park Maintenance - Provide support for the maintenance and upgrade of City parks.
- Sustain, operate and maintain the City's sewer, water, drainage, parks and facilities.
- Daily trash pick-up and emptying trash cans
- Weekly mowing, trimming and landscape maintenance of all parks
- Tree trimming, tree removal and brush removal as needed
- Instituted mandatory inspections of playground equipment
- Completed landscaping and sprinkler system installation to Horsethief Canyon Pocket Park
- Started renovations to Parkview Trails Pocket Park
- Began maintenance on Kiwanis Park improvements
