Provide for the maintenance and operation of the City’s storm drainage facilities. The Enterprise fund receives its revenue from user fees. Good maintenance of the drainage facilities reduces the impact of heavy rain or prolonged wet weather conditions.
Storm Drainage – Provide support for the maintenance of the storm drainage system in the City.
Sustain, operate and maintain the City’s drainage facilities at parks, along right of easy and at all drainage facilities.
- Perform swale and detention maintenance.
- Coordinated a Community Service Crew to mow and litter picked all drainage facilities 3-4 times per year.
- Cleaned NW 20th Avenue and public ditches.
- Coordinated cleaning of 30 catch basins and trouble spots.
- Initiated sweeping of SRSCS by City forces.
