Annexation Program
Annexation is the process by which cities extend their municipal services, regulations, voting privileges, and taxing authority to a new area. The Community Development Department oversees the annexation program.

Building Permits
Building Permits and information are a function of the Community Development Department’s Building Division.

Business Licenses
Business Licenses and information can be obtained from the Community Development Department’s Business License Program.

Code Enforcement
Code enforcement is a function of the Community Development Department. To report a code violation you may also use our Citizen Action Request feature. Code specific information can be found in the Battle Ground Municipal Code.

Public Records Requests are coordinated through the office of the City Clerk.

Public Works
The Public Works Department is responsible for building, operating, and maintaining public facilities and utilities within the City of Battle Ground.

Special Event Permits
A Special Event is defined as a temporary activity or event that is conducted wholly or in part on public property or any event on private property that involves an open invitation to the public. Special Event permits are coordinated the the Parks & Recreation Department.

Taxpayer Information
Information for taxpayers is available through the City's Finance Department.

Utilities/Utility Customers
The City provides water, sewer and stormwater drainage. The Finance Department will provide you with information about your utility bill, rates, service, and other utility providers.
