The Battle Ground City Council is seeking applications from citizens interested in serving an unexpired term on City Council.
Position No. 1, which expires in December of 2017, became vacant on June 1st of this year after the resignation of Lyle Lamb who relocated out of state to accept an employment opportunity.
To be eligible for the position, an applicant must be a registered voter in Clark County and have resided within the Battle Ground city limits continuously for at least one year.
The City Council meets regularly on the first and third Monday of each month for a study session that begins at 6 pm and the general meeting that begins at 7 pm. City Councilmembers often have committee meetings and other time obligations in addition to City Council meetings.

Completed applications must be received by 4 pm on Thursday, June 30, 2016.
