The city is seeking public input on its Draft Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) for 2019.
Stormwater is rainfall, snowmelt, or any precipitation that is not absorbed into the soil. It runs off rooftops, over sidewalks, down street curbs and across parking lots, eventually entering our local streams, Woodin and Mill Creeks. The management of stormwater is highly regulated by the WA State Department of Ecology (ECY).
The SWMP document, submitted annually in compliance with state regulations, details Department of Ecology requirements and the activities the city undertakes to meet those requirements. View the draft Draft Stormwater Management Program Plan for 2019. Your input/comments should be addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org by January 31, 2019.
