[ARCHIVED] Recruiting for Non-Law Enforcement Community Representatives

With the passage of Washington State Initiative 940 and SHB 1064, an independent investigation into the use of deadly force by law enforcement officers is now required by law. The Independent investigative team (IIT) will consist of a team of qualified and certified peace officer investigators and at least two non-law enforcement community representatives who operate completely independent of any involved agency to conduct investigations of police deadly force incidents. 

Law enforcement agencies in Clark and Skamania County are recruiting for the Non-Law Enforcement Community Representatives to be part of the IIT.  For information on this volunteer position, the requirements and how to apply select the IIT Non-Law Enforcement Community Representative link below.
