We recognize the tremendous impact that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on our community’s families and businesses. The City of Battle Ground has taken proactive measures to ensure that water, sewer, and stormwater utility services continue for all customers. During the public health emergency, the city will not disconnect water service nor assess late charges for non-payment. We know many of our customers are experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19 restrictions.
It is equally important that customers who are able to pay their utility bill continue to do so. As a public, non-profit utility, this helps us maintain service continuity while allowing flexibility for those who are most impacted. We have waived service fees for online or phone-in utility bill payments.
Although offices are closed, our staff continues to provide service online or by phone. Payments may be made:
Customers with utility service-related questions may use our online inquiry form at: www.cityofbg.org/ask-utilities or call us at 360-342-5002.
Utility work in the field continues but is limited to work defined as critical per Washington State directives, such as safety-related repairs and restoration of water and sewer service. Our field staff takes every precaution by following public health recommendations for social distancing and sanitization. To report utility service emergencies, please call 360-342-5370.
We appreciate the opportunity to serve our community of customers. Thank you for your continued support of our staff and for those in our community who are most impacted during this uncertain and unprecedented time.
