1. What programs and services are offered at the Battle Ground Community Center and the Senior Center?

The Battle Ground Community Center offers year 'round programs and services such as senior exercise classes, weekday senior lunch and community special events. The Senior Center is the host venue for senior pinochle games, Bunco and a monthly senior lunch get-together.

2. Are there rooms available to rent for weddings, receptions, parties and meetings?

The Battle Ground Community Center offers room rental space from a small meeting and larger multi-purpose rooms to the spacious Lewis River Reception Hall. Visit the Facility Rentals or call 360-342-5380 to find out more information about rental fees, amenities and the reservation process.

4. What hours are Battle Ground parks open?

All parks are open from dawn to dusk, including the Skate & Bike Park. Visit our Parks Rules page for details on park rules.

5. Does Battle Ground Parks and Recreation Department offer youth sports leagues?

Although the department currently does not offer youth sports leagues, there are several youth sports organizations that do. Visit the Youth Sports section of our recreation programs website for contact information.

6. When is the Kiwanis Park water feature turned on for the season?

The Kiwanis Park water feature operates 7 days a week, 10am - 7pm, from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The feature is activated by pushing the button on top of the pole near the water feature area.

7. Do I need a permit to have a block party or an event at a park?

A Special Event Permit is required when an event is held on public property (parks and streets) or when an event is held on private property that involves an open invitation to the public. All special events including but not limited to festivals, block parties, group picnics, walk/bike/run/skate board and sports events, commercial sales and product distribution/promotion are required to have a permit. 8. How do I reserve a group picnic site at Lewisville Park or a campsite at Battle Ground Lake State

Lewisville Park is owned and operated by Clark County. Picnic reservation information is available by calling (360) 397-2446, or by visiting the park's website.
