2. Current Design Criteria

• 12 inch frost depth minimum

3. Electrical Permits

Electrical permits and electrical inspections shall be obtained at Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I)

4. Important Notice for Contractors

Contractors working within city limits must have a Battle Ground Business License or Endorsement and specialty licensing through Labor & Industries.

6. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Chapter 11 of the 2012 IBC is recognized as a "safe harbor" document in meeting the accessibility requirements for new construction and should be referenced for any questions regarding accessibility scoping requirements.  

The 2009 ANSI A117.1 Standard for Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities should be referenced for specific detailed requirements on how to make a project meet the requirements for accessibility. Some standard details are provided for your use.
