Staff is in the process of developing similar civic engagement programs specifically designed for school aged children.
The class size is limited to 25 participants.
Applicants may be non-residents; however, priority will be given to those that reside within the city limits of Battle Ground. Applications will be processed on a first come first serve basis, and based on the student's ability to attend most, if not all, of the scheduled classes.
BGU classes will be rotated between various City facilities. The location of each session is noted on the course schedule, which include:
Battle Ground - City Hall109 SW 1st Street
Battle Ground Community Center912 E. Main Street
Battle Ground Police Department507 SW 1st Street
The City will provide all supplies needed for the program's activities.
