Economic Development

Battle Ground has seen fast growth in the past decade and in that time we have learned to appreciate the benefits of development, services within reach, the extension of infrastructure, and the overall livability of our community.  

Our work includes building infrastructure that attracts private investors to the city, leading and working with our partners to enhance business recruitment, retention of existing businesses, workforce development, and land development.

Strategies

In an effort to foster further development we have implemented several strategies to achieve our goals including: 

  • Offering a team approach
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration throughout the process (Planning, Engineering, Building)
  • Expedited review at all phases
  • Flexibility - providing creative solutions to development speed bumps
