   Please note: Per BGMC 12.110.100, the City maintains landscaping located along City-owned property and within certain public right-of-way areas, including center medians and landscaping along primary and minor arterial roadways on:

   • NW Onsdorff Boulevard — between NW 25th Avenue and N. Parkway Avenue
   • SW Scotton Way — between SW 20th Avenue and S. Parkway Avenue
   • SW Rasmussen Boulevard — between SW 4th Avenue and SE Clark Avenue

   All other improved right-of-way landscaping adjacent to sidewalks or planter strips is the responsibility of the abutting private property owner.

   Sidewalk Maintenance Regulations
   Sidewalk maintenance and repair is outlined in state law (RCW 35.68 and RCW 35.69). State law provides that the adjacent property owner is responsible for upkeep and reconstruction of sidewalks. Staff will review your request and provide additional guidance, as needed.
