Park Appreciation Day

Caring, connecting and community - it starts in parks!

Saturday, April 23, 2022  -   9:00am to 12:00pm

Join Battle Ground Parks & Recreation and Park Adopters as we celebrate National Volunteer Month and Earth Day with our annual Park Appreciation Day work party!

Park Appreciation Day is a way for the community to connect and to give back to their local parks by helping make sure Battle Ground stays green and beautiful.

Tasks may include picking up litter, raking and weeding flower beds, and cleaning playground equipment. Dress for the weather and the work at hand, and you may want to bring work gloves. Some tools are provided and you are welcome to bring your own hand tools.
