Inspection Request

Please request inspections through CSS (Customer Self-Service)

Inspections may be scheduled 24-hours a day via the Customer Self-Service Portal. Inspections must be requested by midnight for next day inspections.

Please note:

  • If you have never created an account, you must first create an account and then ask to be added to the permit to schedule inspections.
    • If you do not receive the email to complete registration, check your spam. If within one hour you still have not received the email, please let us know at: ComDev.Info@CityofBG.org and include the email you are trying to register with. We will create a link for you to complete registration.  
    • Once you create an account, please email us a list of permits you will need to be added to at: ComDev.Info@CityofBG.org
  • We no longer accept phone calls for inspection requests.

Standard Inspection Hours

Monday - Friday (Excluding holidays), 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

We are currently unable to accommodate specific morning or afternoon time frame requests, due to the volume of inspections.

***Please do not schedule final inspections until electrical has been signed off by Labor and Industries***
