Civil Rights and Title VI

It is the City of Battle Ground's Non-Discrimination Policy to assure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, including limited English proficiency, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise discriminated against under any of its programs or activities.

The City's policy on Reasonable Accommodation-Service Animals in Public Facilities and Programs provides equal access for the public regarding accommodation and the use of service animals in public areas of city facilities and in programs. Please refer to the City's Request for Accommodation should you seek access to services and programs for persons with a qualifying disability.  

Language Translation Requests

The City is committed to providing information and access to public records and documents to all citizens.  Requests may be made for documents in an alternate language by notifying the City Clerk. Please allow 10 business days from our receipt of the request for translation to be completed.
