LEOFF 1 Disability Board

The Law Enforcement Officer/Firefighter (LEOFF 1) Disability Board is responsible for approving the medical claims made by City of Battle Ground LEOFF 1 retirees - law enforcement officers who were hired prior to October 1, 1977, as required by law. Details about the membership, authority, and duties of the LEOFF 1 Disability Board are provided in Municipal Code 2.84.


The board is comprised of two members of the Battle Ground City Council, appointed by the Mayor; two retired LEOFF 1 members appointed by the LEOFF 1 membership; and a city resident appointed by the board.
