Summer Day Camps for kids will be held in Battle Ground again, thanks to a partnership between Battle Ground Parks & Recreation and the Clark County Family YMCA.
The Battle Ground Community Center will host a variety of YMCA Day Camps throughout the summer. The camps provide fun, child-centered activities and opportunities for learning through discovery.

Happening this summer at the Battle Ground Community Center: Mad Science camp
Kids will have the opportunity to become junior scientists for the summer and embark on a series of science adventures like no other.
June 27-July 1 / In The Garden / Ages 4-6 / 9 am - noon
July 11-15 / Creative Contraptions / Ages 8-12 / 9 am - noon
Gymnastics Movement and education includes gymnastics obstacle courses, where we will learn about the different gymnastic events, including bars, balance beam, trampoline, and more! We explore all the different aspects of gymnastics like Rhythmic gymnastics where gymnasts perform with ball, hoop, rope, and ribbon. We will watch videos of all of the different types of gymnastics, and we will get to try what we have learned. We will also create a gymnastics themed art project to take home. Please make sure to send your child with a snack, water bottle, and comfortable clothing to move in.
